Who is Diana Lasso?
Diana Lasso was born on 4 March 1974, in Colombia, and is a singer, but probably better known for being the ex-wife of comedian Wayne Brady. Her former husband found fame as a regular on the improvisational comedy show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, and has also hosted numerous other popular game shows such as “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!”
The Net Worth of Diana Lasso
How rich is Diana Lasso? As of mid-2019, sources inform us of a net worth that is over $1 million, earned through success in her numerous endeavors. Her wealth has also been significantly increased thanks to the success of her former husband, who has a net worth estimated to be over $10 million. As she continues her endeavors, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.
Early Life and Career
Very little is known about Diana’s life, as there has been nothing revealed about her family, childhood, and education, except that she hails from Colombia and her family later moved to the US, giving her the opportunity to eventually meet Brady.
According to various sources, she is a singer though no details have been shared about her career. She has not made any significant mainstream hits, nor are there any videos of her recorded performing. She did earn some wealth as a result of her work, and even got more opportunities thanks to Brady. However, she has mainly been out of the spotlight, and has always been a private person as evident from the lack of information about her life away from her former husband.
Ex-Husband Wayne Brady
After completing his education, moved to Los Angeles to develop his acting skills, and first appeared on national television as a part of “Kwik Witz” on which he was a recurring cast member. In the original British version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” he was one of the first improvisational theatre performers alongside Clive Anderson, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles. After completing his run with the original show, an American version was made with Drew Carey as the host, and it led to Wayne’s rise to fame in the US. For his work in the show, he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program.
The result also saw him starring in his own “The Wayne Brady Show”, a daytime talk show which lasted for two seasons. The show won him four Daytime Emmy Awards, and he then made a guest appearance in “The Drew Carey Show”. He also did a lot of theatrical work, including on a production of “Chicago”. He had numerous film and television opportunities as well, including “Chappelle’s Show”, “The Weekenders”, and “How I Met Your Mother”.

Wayne Brady’s Latest Projects
Over the next few years, Brady made a string of guest appearances in popular shows such as “Getting Along Famously” and “30 Rock”, and the sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris”. He then increased his fame as he became the host of the game show entitled “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!”, and he released a debut album in 2008, which earned him a Grammy Award nomination. In 2009, he started hosting an updated version of “Let’s Make a Deal”, before appearing as a guest in “WWE Raw”, and a competitor on “Dancing with the Stars”.
In 2013, he returned for a revival of “?” and also guest hosted “The Late Late Show” for several days. On Broadway, he replaced Billy Porter as Lola in the production of “Kinky Boots”, which ran during 2016, and the following year had a lead role in a production of “Hamilton” in Chicago. A few of his latest projects include a recurring role in the television show “Colony”, as an administrator of the Seattle colony. In 2018, he won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host for “Let’s Make a Deal” for the first time, after being nominated seven times on previous occasions. He also started appearing in the sitcom “The Bold and the Beautiful” as Dr. Reese Buckingham.

Personal Life and Social Media
For her personal life, it is known that Lasso married Wayne Brady in 1993, and they have a child together. However, they only stayed together for two years before divorcing; according to several sources, their divorce stemmed from the fact that Wayne’s career didn’t give him enough time to spend with his family as he usually travelled for work. This along with Brady suffering from eventually led to the downfall of their marriage.
Lasso also suffered from depression after the divorce, and decided that it would be best to return to Colombia. Several sources state that she started pursuing her singing career once more after she returned home, however, no more details have been shared about her since then. One of the reasons there is very little information about her is due to the lack of any social media presence. She does not have accounts on any of the major social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The same cannot be said about her former husband, who is very active online to promote his work.

#Quote1[About his birth parents (2003)]: My father, who was in the Army, moved around. He didn't want me to have that life so he had his mother raise me, but he would still come. She actually kept me fixed in one place in Orlando, and I'm forever grateful for that. I don't talk about my mother because I really don't know her well, so it's nothing that I go into. She's alive and fine, but in the press I refer to my grandmother as my mother. Nothing bad, I just don't really know her. My grandmother IS my mother, she's everything to me.2I know that I might be a role model, especially being a young Black man on TV. And I'm fine with that because I stand behind what I do. I do a great job. I do a clean job. So if that gets me made fun of by another Black actor, then so be it. And if some kid in the projects or even in the suburbs watches what I do and says, 'I want to be like that,' then I've won.3To be honest, I have no desire to turn into the king of game shows. I consider myself an actor foremost, and a writer and singer, and I still tour and do Broadway shows.4The old adage is, you strike while the iron is hot. I've been blessed enough that my irons have been hot-to-warm-to-hot for the past 10 years. So I'm still striking.5[In 2008]: This is what I was built for, I can't save a life; that's why I didn't become a doctor. I can't drive a 16-wheeler. There are a lot of things in life I can't do, but I'll be damned if I can't get on a stage and entertain.6[on Reeko the Skunk]: Stuart showed Reeko that he could take down that wall, and just let people like him for him. At one point I say, 'You don't like me because I'm a skunk,' and they say, 'No, we don't like you because you're a jerk.' He couldn't understand that. There was a good lesson there."7I was teased horribly as a child and beaten up a lot. I had a horrible stutter; I got my butt kicked by bigger kids in school for breakfast, lunch and tea. I want my child to not be that person. I want her to be popular. I want her to have self-confidence. I want her to be comfortable being herself because those were the things that I never had.8[on replacing as host of (2009) in 2009]: They got me because they wanted someone a little edgier, but I get that it is daytime, so I am not going to say, 'Hey bitch, what's behind Door No. 1?' But it lets me push it as far as you can in the daytime schedule, because it is a Vegas audience.
