This is what the controversy is about – some people believe that the campaign made to encourage plus-size women was only made to promote the clothing stores. This might be the reason behind the campaign as the business has really become better for Lane Bryan after the campaign was launched – however, the people who have heard about the controversy believe that raising the confidence and self-esteem of plus sized women is good, regardless of what any secret goal behind it might be.
