Katrina spent her childhood in Bucks County, and according to her, she became interested in paranormal activities from an early age, due to the house she lived in until the age of six apparently being haunted. Regarding her education, upon matriculation she enrolled in the local community college, and then transferred to Pennsylvania State University, from which she graduated with a degree in Integrative Arts and Theatre in 2004.

While in college, her interests in the paranormal increased, and she (PRS) club on campus, where she got enough experience and knowledge about everything she was curious about. In 2006, Katrina started working there in the position of the PRS’s case manager, and got the chance to interview thousands of people who were eyewitnesses to ‘the unknown’.
