Ian Prange is best known as the director and executive producer of the television series “One Tree Hill”. He is also known as the son of the famous director, producer and editor Greg Prange. In addition to this, he was married to the actress, television host and producer Hilarie Burton from 2004 to 2009.

Professional Career

Most of the time, Ian Prange has served as the second assistant director on productions. In the above mentioned position he served creating a number of television series as follows “Eastbound & Down” (2009), “Revolution” (2012 – 2013) as well as Sleepy Hollow (2013). Furthermore, he worked as an assistant director creating films for the big screen, which have included “Game Time: Tackling The Past” (2011) and “Hornet’s Nest” (2012).

“One Tree Hill” is an American drama series for young people, which was aired from 2003 to 2012. The series was about two half-brothers in their teens who had a problematic relationship with each other. Both had a talent for basketball and this made them come closer to each other than they wanted, but the themes mainly focused on youth issues, including romance. Ian served as the second assistant director for 18 episodes aired between 2004 and 2012.

While working on the set, Prange met Hilarie Burton, and they were subsequently marries for five years. However, since the divorce, Ian has been very quiet on the social front, and as far as is known, is currently still single.
